Recommended wet room kits part 3: PCS

PCS wetroom kits are really great quality, but you will only need to buy them if you want to tile your wetroom.

They can be used on timber or concrete floors.

If you don't want to tile your wetroom, we recommend a Marmox or Maxxus wetroom kit.

If you do want to tile your wetroom, we strongly recommend PCS wetroom kits.

Why buy a PCS wetroom kit?

PCS wet room kits are made from extruded foam, as opposed to aggolomerated styrene particles.

This means that there is a density loading of 30 tons per square metre, meaning that small (25mm x 25mm) mosaic tiles can be used without any risk of tiles sinking into the underlay.

While underboarding is required for the underlay, this is not a huge issue and is outweighed by the many benefits of using a PCS wetroom kit.

The boards come in a variety of sizes to ensure that whatever the size of the wetroom that you have in mind, you will be able to use a PCS kit.

What do these wetroom kits come with?

A Lastogum Tanking Kit. Lastogum kits are outstanding quality. They will cover five to seven metres square and will give two coats.

PCI Lastogum has been made by BASF in Germany for 24 years and is the finest quality. It is easy to use and is ready for tiling with no extra preparation required.

A Dallmer Drain. These drains are made by a highly recommended company which has been selling popular bathroom and wetroom products for many years.

A shower tray which can be cut to any size or shape.
